How did switching genres from academic paper to podcast allow you to think in a different way about the subject of your paper? How did it allow you to use language differently?
I think that switching from the paper to podcast as not a huge adjustment for me. The way that I write easily translate to spoken verbiage and is easy to read off the paper for me. It also really made me take a more in depth look at the topic at hand. I feel like all my ideas came together with the podcast and interview together, as well as the reflection wrapping things up. As I recorded I was able to have more freedom to naturally word things, making the paper slightly different and more conversational. This is really the only way the language was different.
