Document their work using appropriate conventions (MLA).
Essay 1
I appropriately used MLA in-text citations throughout the essay, and my works cited page was accurate with my sources and formatting. I am pretty comfortable with using MLA as I used it a lot in high school. Next time, I may not include the photographer in the citation on the works cited page if they played no role in me writing my essay.
Essay 2
I appropriately used MLA citations and format in the second essay. For some reason, when using a source from New York Times, the source is generated so that “New York Times” appear twice, I will have to manually fix this from now on.
Essay 3
While the sources of this third project were somewhat minimal, only using two, I was able to properly site them using MLA format and in text citations when using quotations from the authors. While this is a skill used in many classes before, it certainly is important to properly give credit to the authors whose work you use. I was certainly able to improve my ability to cite sources and use MLA format over the course of the semester.
